Tars - wannabe - from Interstellar

For those who have seen Nolan's Interstellar and for those who think that TARS is the best and for those who love Lego.

I designed a TARS-like two legged robot.

It is very simple and has some weaknesses. I hope that one day it will be able to walk smoothly, but now it just stumbles. Also it's quite fun to keep it in balance with the IR controller. See the LDD file and video in my drive.

The sky is the limit!

Flat vechicle

Does any of you remember these flip car toys from the 90' ?

Anyway, these inspired my flat car. See LDD instructions here.

In theory, it can actually flip upside down, bacause it is thinner than the wheels. It can be controlled with an IR set. I put 2 small motors in it, because the L motors are harder to fit in.

Actually it isn't good for anything other than flip upside down.

Guinea Mobile

If someone have missed the Guinea Mobile sensation, then make up for it quickly. There is the original story of Dr Trouble stealing the lattuce and the Guinecycle with the local biker guy, and there is the behind the scenes with father Andrew. You just can't miss it.

So I also have some legos and two guinea pigs. Why can't I do that.

Actually I am interested in the vehicle rather than the story. My aim is to teach the piglets to drive!

Anyway, it is a future plan, what I have now is a firm plan of a vehicle what can carry a 1 kg piglet. Instructions in the LDD file.

I don't know how big father Andrew's piglets were, but mine are ~1kg and 30cm long. This makes the construction a bit of a challange. I don't care much about the look, my guinea mobile is minimalistic, it is designed functionally.

Keep up for updates!
